| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Slack | Day-to-day communication |
| External communication, formal matters | |
| GitHub | Code reviews, technical discussions |
| Notion | Long-form documentation, project planning |
Slack Etiquette #
Channels #
#general- Company-wide announcements#random- Non-work chat, fun stuff#dev- Development discussions#support- Customer support topics
Best Practices #
- Use threads - Keep conversations organized
- @mention sparingly - Only tag people who need to see it
- Set status - Let people know when you're away
- Async first - Don't expect immediate responses
Meetings #
We keep meetings to a minimum. When we do meet:
- Always have an agenda
- Start and end on time
- Document decisions and action items
Remember: A meeting without an outcome is just a conversation. Make sure there's a clear purpose.
